Samantha grew up in the small town of Shelby, Nebraska and has had a variety of careers such as restaurant manager, photography studio owner and most recently stay at home Mom. Samantha and her husband, Jason, have a 6-year old son Royce. She has volunteered for the Red Cross coordinating and hosting several blood drives along with her family. She is also a huge advocate for Live On Nebraska & Donate Life.

What is one fun fact people may not know about you?

I have summitted Mount Whitney! The highest mountain in the contiguous United States at 14,505 feet!

What is your favorite activity to do in Lincoln?

Anything a child enjoys! We spent countless hours at Library Story Times, Lincoln Zoo, The Children’s Museum, and all of Lincoln City Parks!

What hobbies do you most enjoy?

Collecting Antique Christmas ornaments, going to my family’s little lake cabin, and traveling to the ocean or mountains!

Why is the White Cane Foundation important/appealing to you?

When I was ready to start this new chapter, I wanted to do something that “gave back”. After hearing about the White Cane Foundation, it felt like a perfect fit! The idea of providing children something as basic as new clothes & shoes that help them feel their best is very rewarding!
