Short Q&A with Dave:

What are two fun facts that many people don’t know about you?

1. I love to cook for friends and family. Kelly and I enjoy bringing people to our table who don’t know each other and learn through conversations.

2. I enjoy playing guitar and took classical and flamenco lessons at one time.

Who is most influential person in your life and why?

I have to say my bride of 38 years, Kelly has influenced my life in the greatest dimensions. Mostly she has taught me the gift of honest communication, and that conflict isn’t a bad thing. Her operating system is “love” and I have been one of many beneficiaries of her grace. My mother died when I was 4, but I have had so many women that have been a large part of my life to fill that void. My sister, Sara would be a close second who models love and acceptance daily.
