Get to know Keshia Norris with a little Q&A:
What is one fun fact people may not know about you?
While totally out of my comfort zone, I tried out for the dance team at Northwest Missouri State University my freshman year of college and actually made it!
What is your favorite activity to do, or your favorite place to eat in Lincoln?
I can’t choose just one to answer! My favorite activity is biking the different trails in Lincoln with my family. My favorite place to eat in Lincoln would have to be Leadbelly.
What hobbies do you most enjoy?
Working out, reading, cooking, hiking in the mountains, exploring new areas on vacation!
Why is the White Cane Foundation important/appealing to you?
My “why” for the White Cane Foundation is because I grew up in a small town, a small class K-12 (all in the same building if you can believe that). There were those kids in my class, and other classes, that couldn’t have the same clothes or personal belongings like the rest of us. It always broke my heart to see. At the time, I felt like there was little I could do to help. Now, I’m a part of something that IS helping to turn that around. White Cane Foundation and what we are doing to help children in the community will be something remembered by so many. It’s something I will be truly honored to say I’ve been a part of!
